Hi there,

You're absolutely right that the listening bit of social media is so key to getting a strategy off on the right foot. And as we continue to integrate these social communications into business as a whole, I think it's going to be critical to do what you've touched on: build a team of cross-disciplinary professionals in your organization to help engage your community and deliver content and experiences that keep them connected with your company.

Thanks very much for the kind words.

Cheers,
Amber Naslund

Hi John,

Thank you for your question. Can you elaborate for me - for which element do you refer in terms of marketing, NTEN Conference competition, 3000 Club, or us (in terms of the video)?

Hi Kim,

We will be giving an overview of the social media tools at the end of the first seminar, but the key to creating a conversation with your customers is to understand what to say and how to say it in a way that they will want to respond.
You also need to know where to find them.

The following 4 seminars look at practical conversations using blogs, Facebook/LinkedIn, Twitter, and video.

However, we do not look at how to set up LinkedIn or Twitter accounts etc - this is more about how to use them in a way that will illicit a response from your ideal customer. There is some inputting of information onto the class laptop which will be attached to a screen so the whole class can see it, but you don't need to bring your own laptop.

Look forward to seeing you there!

Just a question - in this first seminar, will you be covering the tools of social media at all or just the strategy/set up?
Oh, and one more question, is this something we bring our computers to so we can interact with these?
Thanks!
